Son Nam group has a strong strategy to develop renewable energy projects in Vietnam and Laos
- SonNam Group advocates strong development in the field of renewable energy to contribute to the development of the energy industry towards green energy, towards achieving the commitment of zero net emissions by 2050.
- The Group is currently implementing the synchronous development of large-scale renewable energy projects in the Central region - the Central Highlands and the Southern region of Vietnam, developing projects in Laos. Towards the 2035 target, the Group and its partners have proposed to supplement the VIII Power Plan, adding nearly 3Gw including: solar power, onshore wind power, biomass power and waste-to-energy.
- The projects in Vietnam have been agreed by the Provincial People's Committees to submit to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Prime Minister for updating in the Plan.
- The projects in Laos have been supported by the Lao Government and Ministries and are on schedule for implementation to export electricity to Vietnam.
